Senior Congress leader Anand Sharma on Sunday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's one-day tour to vaccine facilities across the country and said the visit will lift the morale of frontline warriors and reassure the nation. Anand Sharma heaped praises on PM Narendra Modi and said the visit was a recognition of Indian scientists and their work to produce vaccines for coronavirus. Prime Minister Modi on Saturday visited Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune to review the development and manufacturing process of coronavirus vaccines at facilities in these cities. Sharma was part of the group of 23 Congress leaders who wrote to party chief Sonia Gandhi seeking large scale changes in the organisation.

Congress did not like the PM visit to pharma companies, Reacting to PM Narendra Modi's visit, Randeep Surjewala accused PM Narendra Modi of getting pictures clicked in corporate offices while farmers are protesting on roads of Delhi."Wish the PM talks to farmers on the road instead of flying in the aircraft," Randeep Surjewala said."Coronavirus vaccine will be found by scientists, farmers will feed the country and Modi ji and BJPites will handle television," Surjewala said.
