BSP suspends it's 7 MLAs in UP for anti party activities

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, CCEA has approved Mechanism for procurement of ethanol by Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies under Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme.Briefing media in New Delhi, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said, earlier, there used to be one rate for ethanol but now there will be different prices.He said new Price fixed for Ethanol produced from sugar will be Rs. 62.65 per litre, ethanol manufactured from B heavy molasses will be Rs. 57.61 per litre and ethanol manufactured from C heavy molasses will be Rs. 45.69 per litre.Additionally GST and transportation charges will also be payable.Oil Marketing Companies have been advised to fix realistic transportation charges so that long distance transportation of ethanol is not disincentivised. 

-External Affairs Ministry has said people-to-people relationship is an important foundation of the special relationship between India and the US. Replying to a media query, Ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that India has emphasized that this has been a mutually-beneficial partnership which should be nurtured. He said Indian side is engaged with the US Government for increasing predictability in the visa regime and to minimize the inconvenience being faced by those in the US or those who need to travel to the US for bonafide reasons.On being asked about Pakistan's reaction on changed land laws in Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Srivastava said no country has locus standi to comment on the internal affairs of India.In reply to another query, Srivastava said the whole world knows the truth about Pakistan and its role in supporting terrorism.

-Indian Army has developed a simple messaging application named the Secure Application for Internet (SAI). The application supports end to end secure voice, text and video calling services for Android platform over the internet. The model is similar to commercially available messaging applications like Whatsapp, Telegram, SAMVAD and GIMS and utilises end to end encryption messaging protocol.SAI scores over on security features with local in-house servers and coding which can be tweaked as per requirements.Defence Ministry said, SAI will be utilised pan Army to facilitate secure messaging within the service. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has complimented Col Sai Shankar for his skill and ingenuity for developing the application.

-Bahujan Samaj Party has suspended it's 7 MLAs in Uttar Pradesh for anti party activities. In a press release issued on Thursday evening the party said that all seven MLAs were allegedly in touch with Samajwadi Party and planning to vote against the party's official candidate in upcoming Rajya Sabha election.Calling her party's alliance with Samajwadi Party in last Loksabha elections a mistake BSP leader said she has decided to defeat SP candidates in future MLC elections in UP. In a fierce attack on Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati said that it was a mistake to withdraw her 1995 case against the Samajwadi Party for the sake of their alliance.

-The government of Bangladesh has extended the closure of educational institutions till Nov. 14. Earlier, the educational institutions were closed till October 31. Education Minister Dipu Moni made the announcement on Thursday during an online media briefing in Dhaka. The educational institutions in Bangladesh have remained closed since March 17 after the outbreak of Corona pandemic in the country. Earlier, the government had announced that the annual examination for Junior School Certificate (JSC)  and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) will not be held in order to control the spread of Coronavirus in the country.In the meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged people to follow the health guidelines to protect themselves from the second possible wave of the COVID 19. The death toll due to Coronavirus in Bangladesh has gone up to 5886 as  25 deaths were reported on Thursday. According to the latest figures released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Thursday, the country reported 1681 fresh cases of Coronavirus.
