Assam Rifles at fore front against COVID pandemic

In view of the COVID-19 outbreak various organisations are running awareness programmes to contain the spread of coronavorus. Para- military forces are also taking lead to make people, especially the rural folk, aware. The forces are organising camps at various places of North- Eastern states. Assam Rifles also organised a camp in Mizoram on Saturday. *Serchhip Battalion of Assam Rifles* under the aegis of *23 Sector Assam Rifles/Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East)* organised *'COVID-19 Awareness Drive at Sangau village in Mozoram 
The aim of this drive was to generate awareness amongst villagers about COVID-19. Sangau Company pasted Coronavirus  Safety Posters in Sangau village to educate the villagers about pandemic  protocols such as maintaining social distance, washing of hands, wearing mask properly and avoiding social gatherings. The village authorities appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for  conducting the awareness drive and assured their support in the fight against virus.
